The mission of WCM is to provide a global education that promotes the development of the whole child in which respect for self, community and the environment are of primary importance. Our philosophy is rooted in the teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori. We provide a foundation of academic excellence that allows our students to transition well to rigorous educational environments upon graduation. We achieve this by nurturing intrinsic motivation and self-directed learning, and by emphasizing mentorship between older and younger students, which we strongly believe promotes confidence, curiosity and a lifetime love of learning.
